Draft Investment Policy Statement that considers goals and objectives of a Fund, target allocations/asset class ranges, permitted & restricted investments, and specific guidelines for investment managers.
Decisions are driven and implemented by IPS.
DCS includes all core services and IPS would have full discretion over the assets. At the onset, IPS works in conjunction with the Trustees to develop the investment policy and asset allocation parameters.
All decisions regarding investment managers, rebalancing, and asset allocation are initiated and implemented by IPS.
IPS conducts an on-going review of the entire investment program with quarterly reporting and monthly “flash” reports.
All actions taken are provided in writing as part of the quarterly report.
IPS offers a complete range of core investment consulting services to assist Trustees with all phases of the investment process.

Ongoing education regarding complex asset classes, investment trends, regulatory changes impacting the investment landscape, and ongoing dynamics influencing the current market environment.
Quarterly reporting of total fund and investment managers vs. benchmarks, peer universe comparisons, capture ratios, and risk statistics. All returns reported gross and net of fees.
Asset allocation modeling to address intermediate to long-term investment goals, market opportunity, risk/return analysis, and consideration of alternative asset classes.
Conduct searches (as needed) for third party providers such as custody bank, securities lending, commission recapture provider.
Annual review of private equity commitments including modeling of cash flows to ensure adequate ongoing commitments relative to Policy.
Conduct investment managers searches (as needed) to replace underperforming managers or add new asset classes.
Quarterly review of investment manager compliance with Investment Policy and guidelines.
Negotiation of investment manager and custody bank fees.
Attendance at Board of Trustees meetings.
