Richard I. Sichel, Jr.

Mr. Sichel is the Chief Executive Officer of Investment Performance Services and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm.

He serves on the Investment Committee of IPS helping to formulate strategic policy and is a member of the IPS Management Committee, which establishes and executes IPS’ strategic business initiatives. Responsible for client relationships and marketing efforts in the Mid-Atlantic region, Mr. Sichel works on all aspects of client funds including investment policy formulation, asset allocation strategies, performance monitoring, and manager searches.

Prior to joining IPS in 1999, he was a director at the consulting firm, Hamilton & Company, where he was actively involved in all aspects of consulting services with particular emphasis on working with defined contribution and defined benefit plans.

Mr. Sichel earned a B.S. and an MBA from Rider University. He is an avid runner who has completed 20+ marathons including the NYC Marathon, the Chicago Marathon, and the Boston Marathon.
