Mr. Statts is the Chief Investment Officer of Investment Performance Services, LLC responsible for client relationships throughout the country. Mr. Statts serves on the Executive Committee and is Chairman of the Investment Committee of IPS helping to formulate strategic policy for the firm. Mr. Statts works on all aspects of client funds including investment policy formulation, asset allocation strategies, performance monitoring, and manager searches. His manager research responsibilities focus on equity real estate managers.
Mr. Statts joined IPS in 1986 as Senior Vice President and participated in the formation of the firm. During the prior 12 years, Mr. Statts was an officer and partner of Wall, Patterson, Hamilton & Allen, Inc., a major investment counseling firm in Atlanta. Mr. Statts was responsible for the development and application of the computer-to-stock selection and the management of institutional portfolios. He became a portfolio manager and also a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee. Mr. Statts graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1973 with a degree in Finance from Georgia State University, where he has also done graduate studies in business.
